This tour leads to the most beautiful landmarks of Potsdam, its historical city centre, the charming gardens and the fascinating palaces. We reach the Brandenburg capital via Glienicke Bridge, which got well-known during the Cold War period for exchanges of spies. In Potsdam we visit the Old and New Market and go to Sanssouci Palace, a jewel of Rococo architecture. After an inside visit of the palace we can walk in the garden of Sanssouci seeing the Picture Gallery, the Chinese Tea-house, the Big Orangerie and the New Palace. A break for lunch can be done in the Dutch Quarter, where we find houses dating from the middle of the 18th century. In the afternoon a visit of Cecilenhof Place allows us to get into the history of the Potsdam Conference which went on there in July and August 1945 or we look around in Potsdam historical streets and squares.
