The tour starts at the most well-known architecture of Berlin, Brandenburg Gate, which is connected with the last two hundred years of German history. From here it is not far to Holocaust Memorial and to Gendarmenmarkt one of the most beautiful squares of Berlin. The splendid edifices of Prussia are lying along the street “Unter den Linden”. With the rebuilding of the seat of the Prussian kings Berlin gets a new cultural centre, enlarging Museum Island. The end of the tour can either be Hackescher Markt with its interesting courtyards and restaurants or Nikolai Quarter the oldest city-part of Berlin.
